This photo was actually taken last year during a fireworks display with my Canon Rebel XSi camera and a starburst filter. I don't normally upload my photos, but this is one of my favorites that I've ever taken. It's sparkly and looks like a flower. :)

I cropped it, adjusted the colors and sharpness a little bit, and added the white border.


Edit: Oops, I meant starburst filter, not starburst lens.

I wonder if anyone will come across this and mistake it for a flower at first. It's a very convincing imitation.

Beautiful shot! I tried taking some pictures of the fireworks last week, but its really hard if you don't have a proper dslr camera xD

There's definitely a difference between my Canon Rebel XSi and Sony Cybershot cameras. I get more detailed shots with the Canon, although the sony isn't too bad. I think the biggest thing you need is a camera that can shoot in a night/twilight mode.

Ah, that's true, my camera doesn't do good night shots :/ But thanks for the info! I'm thinking of saving up for a Canon Rebel :D
