This is Kay from my webcomic, Kay the Cookie Jar Dragon: [link] . The clothing style is what you'd find on the streets of Harajuku and is commonly referred to as Decora or Fruits.

I'm trying to experiment a little more with my art, and I had a lot of fun making this. I used my own stock photos for the different effects, which you can find on my DA stock account :iconaquastock:. I might update my stock account eventually. XD;;

I was inspired by the Count of Monte Cristo anime (Gankutsuou) for the collage-y coloring style, and the colors are mostly drawn from decora and 80's fashion. "Totally Outrageous", amirite? :lol:

Wow, I love all the colors. And all the details look great too. :+fav:
Thanks! Most of the time was spent agonizing over color choices for different things, and I ended up duplicating layers to see what colors worked better.

Thanks! I really wanted to do a collage-y piece like that one anime and I'm really happy with how it turned out. :)

np, you're welcome^^ I've seen some art from that anime, and I was really interested in it, it was so well done. You did a great job with the style,this came out great. How do you make it like that, is it a brush?
